Com uma sonoridade moderna e cuidadosa produção, o disco evidencia não apenas o domínio técnico da instrumentista, mas sobretudo sua sensibilidade estétitca e seu comprometimento com a construção de narrativas plurais em suas composições. She is an outstanding composer and arranger, and this recording showcases her at her finest. I found the music deeply interesting and highly creative—a musical journey filled with unexpected surprises. The band is exceptional, performing with both precision and sensitivity, and the solos throughout are truly outstanding.

I believe that music is the true melting pot of the world and Claudia Martinez brings a new and refreshing sound to this wonderful mix. Her new recording “Fotos Mentales”, has all of ingredients to make this a classic. Her recipe is pure creativity and delicious mix of instruments and sonorities that transcend category. Continuing with this recipe analogy, there is a measured blend of genres and styles to satisfy the most discriminating of musical dinner. Claudia not only excels as instrumentalist on this recording but as a composer as well. From the opening of “Agujeroe en el tiempo” to the final track, “Trás la pared”, the international flavor is an international delight.
